- Personality: Henri must please the Prima Donna he serves (mostly by silently agreeing) so naturally he comes off as snobbish or rude. However being around the Prima Donna so frequently does take its toll on someone, so behind her back or while he is away from her, Henri is quite the cynic. He has a spur of the moment wit for sarcasm, which he shares with the scene shifters and fellow employees to Carlotta herself from time to time. When, or if, he ever gets caught, however, he is not one great at defending himself by any means, nor is he keen on any superstitions and happenings at the Opera House.
-Appearance: Henri is tall and thin and yet his features are so full of life. His hair is a reddish brown, neatly cropped at his nape with a single red streak down the middle, complimented by a chic beard and moustache. His hazel eyes are masked behind wire rims of glasses, but are quite expressive. He is always dressed fine and takes great pride in his appearance, demonstrated not only by the classic handsome wear, but the way he holds himself: chest puffed out and shoulders broad.

- Personal history: Born in France to a seamstress and a half-blood Italian merchant, Henri was not in the wealthiest class, but not in the gutters either. He was taken by the people strolling in the streets and their wear as well as the few glimpses of the costumes his mother made in the few instances the Opera Garnier committed her. While his father gave protest the boy began taking lessons from his mother another son came into the picture and the merchant was satisfied to have a boy to take under his wing.

Henri left home at age 17 to seek life outside the household and in the world. Confident in his abilities to create beauty, he was employed by a wig shop in the center of the bustling city. Constantly trying to flaunt and get attention, he came up dry usually because his works were much too...new age. Finally his work paid off, however, as his works were noted by members of the opera house and he was committed at 20. Giddy as a boy he had no idea the hellish tyrant he was to pamper and please.
